Now I have no issues. I am using the UT99 4.69b patch with the Xopengl renderer.
This machines opens Gimp in an eye blink. It's a pleasure to work with now, and I have saved myself boat-loads of time.
My micro-ATX is going to become a bitcoin mining rig.
