Well, I could not find and UnrealScript related forums so I guess this will have to do.
I'm working on a little mutator and I got somewhat stuck. I have 4 classes, let's name them A, B, C and D. A is the top class, B and C extend from A, and D extends from C. So we get this picture:
Now, In class A, I have declared a variable. Let's call it Var1 so the rest of the classes inharit it. And here is what happens:
B class determines a number of Var1. And I want class C and class D to get that number too. It's vital tot he functionality of the whole mutator.
Now, class B spawns class C and C spawns D. I've treid spawning them into a variable (X = Spawn(Class'C); and after that X.Var1 = something, but that doesn't work. When I wrote a log("Var1 is: " $ Var1); in the C class, it came up 0 in the log.
I need a way to forward the variable from class B to C and D.
