Postby thepostman » Tue Jan 08, 2013 9:13 pm

Using direct x 10 or 11 properly in ut99 and being able to select it in the start up display ?
I am sure someone here can make more sense of all this code talk then me so here is a link to ut99.org forum topic about this .

Explained:
Open Botpack.int in Notepad, scroll to the bottom and at the very end add the following line:

Code: Select all

Preferences=(Caption="Game Types",Parent="Advanced Options")

Note that in his post, he made a typo...."GameTypes" should be "Game Types" (with the space)
then you can open "Advanced Options" in the view menu in UnrealEd, or Start ut, open up the console and type preferences
You will see the newly created "Game Types" menu with gametypes found by scanning the UT directory (I'm pretty sure anyway cuz it loads the custom mutator INI info as well)

On that note, he included a zip file in the first post with int files in it that add even more options to the advanced options menu like mutator configs n stuff

I cover various tweaks to access UT stuff over at UT99.org

http://www.ut99.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3625

This thread covers many things including new configs to make the new renderers accessible via the normal method, and with updated information on all the renderers.

Enjoy unlocking all your Unreal games :D
